885 Hours (29.5 weeks)
Objectives of the Program
The manufacturing sector is rapidly evolving to more sophisticated and advanced CNC machine tools. Our program enables students to meet those challenges by learning on state-of-the-art machines and software. Students learn advanced CNC techniques using industry standard controls like FANUC, Mitsubishi, Fadal, and Siemens. Our shop is equipped with 3-axes turning centres (C-axes with live tooling) and machining centers with up to 5 axes. We teach CAM programming using the acclaimed Master CAM X2 software package. Our department is equipped with an experienced staff of professionals, who teach students what they need to know in order to advance their CNC machining career.
