
Admission Requirements
Candidates wishing to register must
be at least 16 years of age and have obtained Secondary IV credits in
English, French, mathematics, and moral and religious education (MRE).
MRE is not required for adult students.
How
and When to Register
Programs
start at various times throughout the year. Many of the programs have
waiting lists, so it is important to register as early as possible. Call
the office at 376-4725 for clarification of which documents you will need
to bring with you at the time of registration. An appointment time will
be arranged for you.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for these full-time programs are paid for by the Quebec Ministry of Education.
Service and Activity Fees
A service fee of $50 per semester and an activity fee of $30 per semester will be charged for services provided to students throughout their studies. Programs that run 1800 hours would be covered over three semesters.
Material Fees
Material fees to cover the cost of
materials used and equipment kept by students are charged. The amount
varies according to the program.
Financial Assistance
Loans and bursaries are available for eligible candidates.
Emploi Québec benefits may be extended depending on the program
chosen and the candidate's status.
Aide à la pension is a Ministry of Education program which provides
approximately $2,500 per year to students who must relocate in order to
attend courses may also be available.
Federal and/or provincial tax credits are available to qualifying full-time
students.
